it may not be next week or even next year but peter has added it to his list of things to accomplish in this lifetime. while we were in NY he wanted to test his abilities on the open water and that he did. on friday at 630 am pete and his long-time friend kirk hit the water. pete swimming and kirk following close by in his boat. can you see that island way out there? right at about pete's head level? that is bass island it is 3 miles out. he swam for just over 2 hours straight and finished strong. not sure he was ready to hope on the bike and do 100 miles but give him time. i have no doubt that he'll be up to the challenge. way to go babe!
