this past saturday kate's buddies joined us from 11-1 for her garden themed birthday bash. our afternoon was filled with lots of love and laughter and a whole bunch of silliness. following the party there was slip-n-sliding, hairstyling, a fashion show, a dance party and an impromptu sleep-over. we had plenty of space yet the three girls, kate abby and krista all insisted on sleeping on the same blow-up mattress. kate woke up under her bed the next morning but given the opportunity i am sure they'd do it again.
pete and i want to thank all of you for reaching out to our sweet little thing on her special day. the calls, cards and gifts came from far and wide and meant the world to us.
get your grass skirts ready. kate has already declared that next year she'd like to have a hawaiian party and pete couldn't be happier. "finally an occasion to roast a pig." oh BOY!!!

i know! can you belive it? only if it comes on her terms. mom can't suggest it. sure wish you could have been with us but i have to say the dads did a great. they even all came in birthday uniform!

it sure did. the dress is darn bute. kater loves it. may be worn on her first day back. can't wait to see you guys!
